The 3rd annual Jente Loppet is a women’s race open to all ages. This is the second of three Kongsberger Ski Club cross country ski races this winter. Jente Loppet encourages women to try racing and focuses on fun.
Distances
10K and 5K freestyle (skate or classic technique) races
Open to women skiers of all ages
(Note: young skiers are encouraged to come race with their moms)
Start Times
10K – mass start at 10:00 AM
5K – mass start immediately following 10k start
Location
North of interchange at Cabin Creek Sno-Park, exit #63 on I-90, 10 miles east of Snoqualmie Pass. Sno-Park permit and Washington State Grooming Sticker required to park. 1-day permits for purchase online. Be sure to get your Sno-park permit & grooming sticker before you come up to the race. ( We're not selling one day permits in the parking lot this year) .
Racers may use the Kongsberger club cabin and waxing shed on race days

Course is on Kongsberger trail system on US Forest Service land, north side of I-90. 5K is one lap, 10K is two laps. Map

Pre-registration requested but no late fee for day of race registration.
Registration available on race day from 8:30 to 9:30 AM in basement of Kongsberger cabin. Credit cards not accepted on race day.
Juniors’ Parent Waiver Required
Racers under 18 years old must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. If a parent/guardian is not present at race day registration, those racers must print the waiver ahead of time, have it signed, and hand it in to registration on race day. No exceptions.
Bib Pick-up & Return
Bib pick-up for all racers from 8:30 to 9:30 AM on race day in basement of Kongsberger cabin. Return bibs at finish.
Post-Race Food
Post-race hot food, beverages and fun in cabin.
Awards, Medals & Prizes
Top 10 overall medals for each race given at post-race ceremony. Age group winners announced. Draw prizes at ceremony, must be present to win.
Results
Results posted in the cabin after race finishes and online within 24 hours.
Non-Racing Skiers & Spectators
Non-racing skiers (including male friends and family) are invited to watch races at the start/lap/finish area or along the trails. Trail and parking lot use will, however, be intensive from 10:00 to noon. As always, dogs are not permitted on groomed trails at Cabin Creek.
